Names and characteristics of Jenny friends (Includes only friends that have not already been introduced in the dolls' room) The blood type of each friend is given because in Japan it is supposed to have an influence on the character and destinies of people, and there is a horoscope based on blood types.

Chelsea		France	17	A	Leo Aug. 1	Appeared in 1991. Ballerina. Discovered by "Mister Dandy" who also made "Idol Jenny" famous. Born on the same day as Jenny and looks like her twin. Her hobby is collecting romantic small articles. (This doll was manufactured by Ooike and previously sold as Eliena)

Old Ellie		America (NYC/LA?)	18	B	Capricorn Jan. 13	The second friend of the Takara Barbie period, she appeared in 1984. She had very fine wires in her hair which allowed to curl it. Her dream is to become a fashion designer like Kenzo. She attends a fashion design school on 5th avenue
Old Flora		France (Paris)	17	A	Virgo September 2	Oldest Jenny friend, first appeared in 1983 during the "Barbie" period (long hair). Also a member of the first generation "Jenny's club" (1986; bobbed hair, thicker eyebrows). Romantic, likes reading, playing the piano and handwork. A replica of this doll was issued in 2000.
New Flora		Scandinavia	17	O	Sagittarius Nov. 30	First introduced in 1997 as part of the Supermodel club. Strong-spirited though her character retains a childish side. Pictured here is a Castle original.
Jane		America	17	AB	Leo August 2	Appeared in 1992. Was introduced to Jenny by Timotei when Jenny came to visit her country. Lives in a southern American island but has Japanese origins. Loves aquatic sports ; is not only a student but also a sports instructor. She was the first friend with an open mouth.
Jeff		America (LA)	18	O	Aries	Appeared as Ken in 1985, was renamed the following year. Main Jenny boyfriend. Captain of a basket-ball team. Also good at tennis and cycling.
Julirsia		Russia	18	O	Taurus May 18	The first Russian friend. She was sold exclusively at the Jenny Fashion Doll Festa held in November 1999 at Mitsukoshi in Ginza.
Kaori Hayama		Kanagawa prefecture (Japan)	17	A	Libra October 5th	Jenny met Kaori in Hawai. Kaori is a very active young girl who loves marine sports. She also likes music. The first version was dark-skinned Surfer Kaori, but ligh-skinned versions were released later.
Laura		Canada	17	B	Pisces March 18	Appeared in July 98 as a "playing with hair" type doll targetting children rather than collectors. Her straight blond hair reached down to her feet and she came with various hair brushes and accessories. Later an "Outdoor" (1999) version and a tanned version (2000) were released.
Lisa		Australia (Sidney)	18	O	Aries	Appeared in 1988 as a member of the 2nd generation "Jenny's club". Her face is quite different from the other dolls - less "cartoon-like" and more "human-like". Loves nature and animals, outdoor life and sports. Would like to become a vet.
Loberia		Belgium	17	B	Scorpio October 29	She was released in 2000 together with Shion as a friend of PG Jenny, She likes colorful and cute fashions.
Mike		America (LA)	19	A	Leo July 31	Appeared in 1992 as new boyfriend. Friend of Jane. Seems that he'll never be more than a good friend to Jenny. Sports instructor. Good at everything but especially at skateboard.
Mille-feuille		France (Provence)	16	O	Aries April 16	Appeared in 1997. Had long blond hair and came with brush. More versions were released later. Natural looking girl. Likes baking.
Nanako Hoshizawa		Japan (Tokyo, Minato-ku)	18	A	Cancer July 11	Hoshizawa Nanako is a high school student with a part time job at 7-11. She was released in December 2000 and was only available through pre-orders from 7-11 stores. She came with a shopping basket, a 7-11 red jacket and various food packages.
Olive		France	17	A	Pisces March 3	Appeared in 1987. Reappeared in 1988 as "Pretty Olive". Re-re-appeared in 1992 as "long hair Olive" with blond hair down to her feet. Her name is meant as a symbol of peace (the branch...). Has a special talent for hair and make-up. Advises all the other girls. She's a counselor in a beauty salon called "Pretty Room". Pictured here is the brown hair kimono version.
Raph		England (London)	19	AB	Cancer July 22	Appeared in 1987 as new 18 year old boyfriend. Re-appeared in 1992 as a member of "Ellie's club", one year older and with long hair (then very fashionable in Japan). Also limited edition (300) of black-haired Raph in Japanese dress. Also made an appearance in 1995 with semi-long brown hair. University student. Intends to be an architect. Cool and a bit of a playboy, but also gentle and kind. Pictured here is the Ellie's Club Circus Bravo version.
Rosana		Spain (Barcelona)	19	B	Scorpion Oct. 27th	Appeared in 1990 as member of the "Jenny mates". Studies art at university. Works part-time as a tourist guide. Her hobby is flamenco. Strong and mature character. Has a deep respect for Matisse and Picasso. She can tell fortunes. She met Jenny at a festival in LA when the latter was back home for the holidays during her studies abroad, and the 2 sometimes go on diving holidays to the Aegean sea together.

Sherry		Spain	18	A	Gemini May 28th	Appeared in 1997 as friend of "Ballerina Jenny". Has a super-action Jenny type jointed body. Comes with a tutu for rehearsal and a costume for the part of Aurora in "Sleeping beauty". Bright and kind girl. Goes to the same ballet school as Jenny but is reputed to be a better dancer.

AG series

This new series, meant for young children, started in 1999. AG Jenny and her friends go to a school called "Angels Garden International School" in Yokohama. A manga featuring AG Jenny and friends is serialized in a magazine for first graders. All AG dolls have very big anime-type eyes. The early ones came with the AG body, but since the summer of 2000 they come with the natural body.

Shou		17	2nd grade		Little brother of Moe and classmate of AG Jenny and Felice. His dream is to become a hair designer. The first AG boyfriend so far, he comes on an action-type jointed body.
Angeli		17	2nd grade	Lichtenstein	Her dream is to become a jewelry designer.
Jessica		17	2nd grade	Australia (Sydney)	Her dream is to become the best gymnast in the world.
Dancing Airi		17	2nd grade	Japan (Okinawa)	Her dream is to become a professional dancer.
