MOMOKO

In October of 2004, Petworks gave the rights to produce Momoko to the Sekiguchi company. The company promptly announced that it's first Momokos would debut in the spring of 2005(March). However the Sekiguchi company lived up to its reputation in delaying delivery of its products, as the dolls were then re-scheduled to arrive in April and then only two at a time. While in the midst of delaying the debut of the Volume 1 dolls, Sekiguchi announced Volume 2 dolls. While collectors were still waiting for their first Momokos, Sekiguchi announced yet another group of new Momokos to add to the schedule.

It is to be noted that Pure Violet, seen on the far right of the pic has already undergone several changes to "tone" her down. Below is the most recent pic of the doll and it shows that her bodice has changed, her lip colour is more subdued and she has no tattoo. The final version that was actually produced was just like the picture below except that they gave her back her tattoo.
The first two dolls delivered by the Sekiguchi company were Afternoon Off and Out with Puppy. They were scheduled to debut in March, but ended up arriving in April.
