This house always makes me think it must be the second house owned by the dollhouse family. You know, after the baby arrived and they had outgrown the small rancher, they moved into the lovely two story colonial with room for baby. The house came in a variety of styles. First produced in 1950, the house came with 1/2 inch Traditional style furniture and a Tin Soldier nursery motif. Variations include the 1974 Quaker Oats House as seen above, but with the unique hallmark. This was the only Marx house to have the hallmark: Marx a subsidiary of the Quaker Oats Company.

A NURSERY TOO
Not only did this house have room for baby, but baby
had a room. The house had the usual rooms, but the decoration
was a bit different.
Tin Soldier Nursery
Here is a close up of the cute tin soldier motif
in the nursery.
